It's kind of hard to believe Mike Giant, one of the most prolific tattoo artists of his generation, was born colour blind and near sighted. Born in upstate New York his versatile interests including heavy metal, BMX bikes, skateboards, punk rock and hip hop, that have assisted him to cult like fame through his work in the tattoo, graffitti and skateboarding communities.

His bold graphic style is created in a studio practice of meditation and spirituality that belongs to an eastern philosophy towards the creation of art. Mike Giant's advocacy for bike and fixed gear bike culture has also secured him a place deep within the street bike culture.

Mike Giant has worked his magic art across a one-of- a-kind Fixed Up bike, and the Sydney Sunday Sessions crew have masterminded yet another custom Fixed Up bike with Sable and Argent, and The Galeries is offering you the chance to win these.

On display for a limited time at Fixed Up @ The Galeries from 4 July – 15 August 2010, these art pieces will be given away to two lucky winners who enter the in-store giveaway.
