The Galeries is very excited to announce our upcoming exhibition...

This Christmas, the art heroines of Curvy will transform The Galeries, suspending oversized works of art throughout the space, and exhibiting original art pieces in select retail stores, available for purchase.

This one of a kind exhibit will see The Galeries foyer become home to eight limited edition art works created by some of the world’s most celebrated female artists including Fafi, who along with Sarah Lerfel, founder of Colette Paris, co-curated this years Curvy book. Other recognized names include Noferin, Genevieve Gauckler, Amandine Urruty, Courtney Brims, Rilla Alexander, Melissa Haslam, Irina Dakeva and Kaitlin Beckett. An additional array of work, biogs and interactive elements from each featured artist will also be on display.

The exhibit will run from Friday, 19 Novemeber 2010 - Sunday, 9 January 2011.

Alongside the exhibition the Galeries will also be running a series of events and promotions...

Art lovers will have the chance to win one of the eight limited edition prints on display in the Galeries, as well as receive a free copy of Curvy 2011 with all purchases of $150 or more within The Galeries. Also, for the three Thursdays leading up to Christmas, from 6-9pm, the Galeries will come alive with head-to-head art battles featuring girls from Curvy, armed with only a black marker.
