The art war is still raging, and it hit a peak at the final Curvy Live art battles, which saw 4 awesome artists battle it out, Melody Li vs. Nick Sansonetti and Claire Nakazawa vs. Andrew Clark.
Melody created a character straight out of a freakishly cute nightmare (inspired by her own childhood nightmares!), her artwork was Curvy with lots of shark edges. Nick fought back with a 6 armed character of his own, each arm donning an art tool and some bad ass tattoos.
The second battle was no less intense, with Claire painting up a black storm of eery and beautiful faces and Andros fighting back with his signature junkfood graffiti style art work.
The girls hold the lead for the moment but that could all change in the next week... Head to The Galeries Facebook before next Thursday (Dec 30) and cast your vote for your favourite artist from both battles.
Remember the overall winner from all three of the art battles receives an exhibition in a leading Sydney art gallery as well as their own showcase in The Galeries brand new art space Lane Four (coming soon) and one lucky voter will win their very own copy of Curvy 7, so get voting and stay tuned to find out who our 3 finalists will be.
